LKCATT & JAYDES Publishing was founded in 2009. By creating LKCATT & JAYDES and becoming a self publisher, allows me to retain 100% of the rights and copyright licenses and 100% royalties.

I’ve found that self publishing can be both wonderful and rewarding.  It allowed me to be in charge of my own destiny and it’s more profitable than signing on with a typical royalty publisher.

Self publishing has given me complete control of everything: from deciding what to write about,  choosing titles, timeline, cover design, printer choice, promotion, book marketing strategies, sales, rights and much more.

I have to be honest. It does require focus, self discipline and determination, because it involves a lot of details and decision making. It may even get a bit overwhelming. My motto is “the slower you move the quicker you get there.” I’ve learned this from experience. My advice is to research and take advantage of Self Publishing Resources. They really work.

After you hold your book, your completed work in your hand, your author’s copy, it’s your reward for all of the hard work you have put into it.  It’s your royalty feeling without the profit. It is the beginning of the rest of your life.

But most importantly, always keep your eyes on Christ, for He is the greatest and the greater reward. None of this would be possible without him. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil. 4:13
